These top selling books span multiple centuries, covering many genres and original languages. I hate to say it but I was very disappointed with this installment in the series. Conceptually I like the series in general but have found the last couple of books somehow lacking. So far this has been the weakest of the bunch. Ralph is mentioned a lot in earlier books but now that he had his own book I expected to get to know him better, instead we're told the story from Libby's side of things. This makes Ralph pretty cookie-cutter and unfortunately he feels strangely generic.

And I'll have to decide between saving myself…or saving the world. To prove her journalistic chops, Libby Monroe ends up in Broken Heart, Oklahoma, chasing downbizarre rumors of strange goings-on—and finding vampires, lycanthropes, and zombies. She neverexpects to fall in lust with one of them, but vampire/single dad Ralph Genessa is too irresistible.

It came across as something that was quickly typed up and published in the hopes of making money. Had the author spread it out more and taken the time to convey her characters, this book could have been pretty good. Unfortunately, she ended up with something comparable to Twilight… and god, did I hated that series. Both Libby and Ralph are likeable characters.
I started calling myself Libby at the age of ten, much to Mom's disappointment. However, my parents were all about free expression and independent thinking. If their only child desired to be called Libby, that desire would be honored. Also, I again was bothered by the constant references to other contemporary tv shows and novels. It made me feel like I was again reading fan fiction, rather then a well done novel. I like very much that there was a change in the style of this book a little bit compares to the first 3.
I M The Vampire That S Why
"Wait Till Your Vampire Gets Home" was action packed right from the get go and funny as can be. We are getting to know the charters a little better in each book and new paranormal creatures are showing up. A woman finds out that while it's one thing to date a single father with emotional baggage, it's quite another to date one who’s dead in this Broken Heart novel...

The third deligtfully undead novel in New York Times bestselling author Michele Bardsley's Broken Heart series. Not just anyone can visit Broken Heart, Oklahoma, especially since all the single moms—like me, Patsy Donahue—have been turned into vampires. I’m forever forty, but looking younger than my years, thanks to my new lifestyle. And even thought most of my customers have skipped town, I still manage to keep my hair salon up and running because of the lycanthropes prowling around.
Lots of action happening with dragons attacking the town. If you're looking for something deep and earth moving probably not what your looking for but for a light reading it's entertaining. A quirky town and entertaining characters. Libby and Ralph were both sweet and I liked that both focused so much on his twin boys. The little boys were pretty cute too. I liked the idea of a paranormal research group stumbling onto the town.
While entertaining at first, the constant cliff hangers off every chapter made it hard for me to take seriously.
Sneaking around this creepy little town in the darkand during winter, no lesswas such a bad idea. Especially considering I'd been scared out of my wits by those . It's a lot funnier than my review can let on, but I don't want to give anything away. There are some yummy love scenes, dragonfire, vampire schtuff....all good fun. Speaking of the mom, she was one of the most horribly unbelievable characters I’ve ever had the misfortune of reading about. When she finds out her daughter -whom she apparently loves- had been nearly dissected by someone, she says that they probably had a good reason.

They know how important good grooming is—especially a certain rogue shape-shifter who is as sexy as he is deadly. Now, if only I could put a leash on my wild teenage son. The stress would kill me if I wasn’t already dead. But my maternal instincts are sill alive and kicking, so no one better mess with my flesh and blood.
At the cemetery she is watching single father and new vampire Ralph Genessa as he puts flowers on his wife’s grave. It was fun getting to know her and Ralph and meeting up with the other people who live in Broken Hill and are now members of The Consortium. I don't typically dig on paranormal romance, but I do love this series.

Onlythe town is being torn in two by a war between the undead—and Libby may be the only thing thatcan hold Broken Heart together... I never expected to fall in lust, but Ralph Genessa is too irresistible. Being a vampire, he should be, but for some reason, his glamour doesn’t work on me. The fact that he’s the loving, sexy father of twin toddlers is what wins me over.
Overall, this was a light and fun read, but the romance was too fast and overwhelmed the suspense and action. In addition, the humor seemed a little bland. Can't remember the title or the author of a book? Our BookSleuth is specially designed for you.

Everything stayed pretty much on the surface though. Would have been nice if the two main characters were given a bit more depth. Seemed like as soon as I started the book it was already over with a happy ending for all of the good guys.
